Mike
Nevling has been the
pastor of Saint Andrews since
2002, coming from the Middletown
Presbyterian Church in Media,
PA. Mike is originally from
Raleigh, having his
undergraduate degree from North
Carolina State University in
Philosophy and Religion.
Mike earned his Doctor of
Ministry degree from Union
Theological Seminary in Richmond
in 1984 and has served churches
in North Carolina and Virginia,
as well as Pennsylvania. “The
church is the place we come to
know Jesus Christ and is the
community from which we go forth
to serve Jesus Christ. It is in
that environment of faith
growing and faith serving that
the church is at its best.
Mike is married to Linda Marrow
Nevling
and together they have one
child, Kelly. Time spent with
family is one of his greatest
joys. Others interests include
reading, walking God’s beautiful
creation and being an ardent
college basketball fan. “Life
is lived to its fullest when we
realize that it’s lived in God’s
care. Romans
8 reminds us that nothing
can separate us from the love of
Christ. This promise should
serve as the foundation and the
hope of our lives each day.”
