Fall Gathering -
Tuesday, August

All women of the
church are invited to
attend the Fall
Gathering where we
kick-off the SAPW year.
The program introduces
the coming year’s
activities, including
the sale of the selected
Circle and Weekly Bible
Study books, and
provides an opportunity
to renew friendships and
to socialize. The SAPW
Operating Fund, which
includes membership
dues, is also collected
during this program.

Bunco Night Social and
Mission Event -
Saturday, October
13, 6-9 pm
StepUp Ministry is
an empowerment ministry
that helps people find
jobs, housing and
educates members in
self-sufficiency and
life skill success. SAPW
is combining its fall
social and mission
events for a Bunco Night
to benefit StepUp. All
adults are welcome to
enjoy this fellowship
opportunity that will
include dinner, Bunco
and door prize drawings.
If you cannot make the
event, you can still
support StepUp through
the purchase of donation
tickets for door prizes.
Join the fun for $15 per
person, which includes
your dinner.

Fruit
of the Spirit Prayer
Retreat - Sunday,
October 21, 1-5 pm
All women of Saint
Andrews are invited to
New Hope Camp in Chapel
Hill for a ½ day
contemplative prayer
retreat focusing on the
Fruit of the Spirit.
There will be time for
fellowship as well as
quiet time alone for
walking, reading,
journaling, and praying.

Spring Retreat -

The Presbyterian
Women’s Spring Retreat
is being held at
Montreat in the North
Carolina Mountains near
Asheville. We invite you
to attend this wonderful
weekend of spiritual
growth, fellowship and
music. Financial
assistance may be
available for the Spring
Retreat. Please submit

Birthday Gathering -

Gathering concludes the
SAPW year. During this
event, you will witness
the presentation of
scholarships to our
deserving students and
have the opportunity to
meet your in-coming
2008-2009 SAPW
Leadership Team and
thank the outgoing team.
The Birthday Offering is
also collected during
this program, which is
sent to PC-USA in
support of designated
missions selected
annually by the
Presbyterian Women’s
Creative Ministries
Offering Committee.
