An important part of Presbyterian Women is mission outreach to our community and world.  SAPW
supports local needs in our own community and internationally through volunteer work and through
financial gifts.

Bunco Night Benefit for StepUp Ministry - Saturday, October 13, 6-9 pm


SAPW is planning a combined fall social and mission event night of Bunco fun to benefit StepUp Ministry. StepUp is an empowerment ministry that helps people find jobs, housing and educates members in self-sufficiency and life skill success. All adults are welcome to enjoy this fellowship opportunity that will include dinner, Bunco and door prize drawings. If you cannot make the event, you can still support StepUp through the purchase of donation tickets for door prizes. Join the fun for $15 per person, which includes your dinner.


Mexico Christmas Gift Box Breakfast - Saturday, December 1, 9-10:30 am


A fun breakfast event where we decorate and fill Christmas goodie boxes for the children of
Faith Ministry, which is in the border colonias of Reynosa and Miguel Aleman, Mexico.
 

 

Christmas Angel Tree - November 17 - December 9


Long a favorite tradition at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church (SAPC), the Christmas Angel Tree is coordinated by SAPW. The tree is located in the Narthex and is adorned with ornaments containing specific gift suggestions for needy children and families from four missions supported by our church. The missions are
Passage Home, Barium Springs Home for Children, Loaves & Fishes and Cedar Point Tutoring.
 

 

Loaves & Fishes Camperships - Spring date TBA


SAPW is planning a combined spring social and mission event to benefit the children of the Loaves and Fishes organization. Proceeds are used to send at-risk children to summer camp. Watch the spring bulletins for more information on how to donate.
 

 

Barium Springs/Food Lion and Harris Teeter Shopping Program - ongoing


These are ongoing programs that financially assist the
Barium Springs Home for Children, with no work and minimal effort on your part. Each time you shop at Food Lion or Harris Teeter and use your MVP or VIC card, a portion of your grocery purchase will be donated to Barium Springs.
