Moderator Position Description

·    Spiritual leader to Women of the Church

·    Supervises all activities of SAPW

·    Represents SAPW at regional meetings

·    Selects the scriptural focus for the year

·    Assists Bible Study Coordinator in the selection of the study book for the Circles and Weekly Bible Study

·    Informs Church staff, Session, and congregation of SAPW activities

·    Provides input to spiritual programs for SAPW

·    Prepares agenda and conducts scheduled team meetings for the year

·    Organizes devotions for each team meeting

·    Attends Circle meetings during the year

·    Emcee at Fall and Birthday Gatherings, and as needed for Women’s Enrichment Day, Spring Retreat, and any other events

·    Previews yearly publications including the handbook, pamphlets, etc.

·    Member of College Connection scholarship committee
