This Saturday we will work at the Passage Home locations on Spring Forest (Franklin Woods) and Millbrook Rd. (New Beginnings) for regular maintenance and to repair several problems at the properties. We will meet at the Franklin Woods location on Spring Forest Road across from Millbrook High School at 9:00 AM. Although our normal hours are 9-3, we will probably finish around 12:00. If you can make this Saturday's workday or need more information, please call either of us before Saturday. We would very much appreciate your help. Gil Weil: 847-8157 Tracy Peck: 876-9761

A Spring Haiku
As May dawns, we move - it's a time of beginnings and endings also...
Spring comes to us in full force now and on some days we even begin to get hints of summer. Spring drills in football are starting while other spring sports are coming to the end of their seasons. School for many children and youth is in its final days and year end picnics and graduations are planned.
May is also a busy time at the church with programs wrapping up before summer and with wonderful annual events coming our way. During this month, our Sunday School classes will finish their curriculum and some music programs will offer their final selections before the fall. Communicants will make their professions of faith and another New Members class will unite with the church.
We will celebrate Mother's Day and Pentecost during our hours of worship and we will share in our church picnic at Baileywick Park. Truly it is a special time for us here at SAPC. So, watch your bulletin and your e-mail for details concerning all of our opportunities to worship, fellowship and grow together.
Blessings, Mike Nevling
One additional note…this Sunday’s scripture is Matthew 22: 15-22 and the sermon title is “Who Are You Voting For…”. This is not a political rally, but a reflection upon our place as Christians in the political and governmental process. It is also a Sunday when we will share communion together. Hope to see you on the Sabbath.
