Trips and Retreats
High School Beach Trip: September 14-16, 2007 Wrightsville Beach, NC Don't forget your bathing suit, sand toys, and Frisbee! We'll enjoy a relaxing weekend at the beach to get to know each other better and kick-off the new year!
New Hope Presbytery Retreats Join with other youth groups from our part of NC! This year October 26-28, 2007 all High School youth are welcomed to a retreat at Camp Don Lee. The Middle School Retreat will be April 11-13, 2008. This is a fun weekend of recreation, keynotes, small groups, and energizers!
Ski Retreat, January 25-27, 2008 Middle and High Schoolers gather for this fellowship retreat of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and other outside winter fun.
Middle School CROSS Mission Trip, March 14-16, 2008 The middle school group will travel to Charlotte, NC for a weekend of service. Working with our friends at Myers Park Presbyterian Church we'll volunteer at local organizations, and discuss why service is an important part of being a Christian.

Trip, March 31- April 4, 2008
Summer Events: Appalachia Service Project: July 6-12, 2008 This summer the High School group will travel to rural Appalachia to participate in home repair ministry. We will work along side families to make their homes warmer, safer, and drier. We'll learn about poverty, study our call to service, use power tools, and have a lot of fun!
Montreat Youth Conference, July 20-26, 2008 Each summer the high school group travels to the NC Mountains for a week in Montreat with hundreds of other youth. Join us at the 2008 Conference, "Throw Open the Doors" for fun recreation and energizers, small groups, keynotes, and worship services.
Massanetta Middle School Conference, June 24-27, 2008 The Middle School Group participates in the conference at Massanetta Springs, in Harrisonburg, VA. Middle Schoolers enjoy 3 days full of recreation and games, keynotes, workshops, music, and worship. We can't forget to mention the huge slip'n'slide either!
Haiti Senior Trip: August 1-8, 2008 Our graduating seniors will be traveling to Port-au-Prince, Haiti for a week of mission. We will stay and volunteer at the St. Joseph's Home for Boys and Wings of Hope Orphanages, learn about Haitian culture, visit CODEP to learn about their work, and volunteer in area hospitals.
